1. Website Operator and Scope
ArabicLearningGames.com (“Arabic Learning Games” or the “Website”) is operated by 1Atom Consultancy Sdn. Bhd, a private limited company incorporated in Malaysia, registration number: (1253158-U). (“we”, “us” or “our”).
These Terms govern access to the Website and its games, learning content and related features. Please read them before using the Website. If you do not agree, do not use it.
If you use the Website on behalf of a school, business or other organisation, you must have authority to agree to these Terms on its behalf.
2. Limited Permission to Use the Website
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable permission to access and play the games directly on the Website for personal learning.
Teachers, tutors and educational institutions, including those charging tuition fees, may also display and use the games directly on the Website as supplementary teaching activities. They must not charge separately for access to our games, represent them as their own, or suggest that we endorse or accredit their services.
These permissions do not transfer ownership or grant permission to download game packages, extract assets, reproduce the database, embed games elsewhere or distribute copies.
Ordinary browser processing and temporary caching necessary for permitted use are allowed. No other permission is granted except as expressly stated below, separately agreed by us in writing, or required by applicable law or an applicable third-party licence.
3. Intellectual Property and Reserved Rights
We and our licensors retain all applicable rights in the Website, including its original software, text, illustrations, audio, visual design, branding, and the original selection, arrangement and presentation of its vocabulary and learning materials.
Making material publicly accessible, or allowing your browser to receive it, does not make it public domain or grant a licence to reuse it.
We do not claim exclusive ownership of Arabic words, linguistic facts, general game concepts or material belonging to others. Third-party and openly licensed components remain subject to their applicable licences. These Terms do not restrict rights independently granted by those licences or rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
4. Prohibited Copying and Reuse
Except within the permissions expressly stated in these Terms, with our prior written permission, or where permitted by applicable law or an applicable third-party licence, you must not:
- copy, download for reuse, reproduce, translate, adapt, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license or commercially exploit protected Website material;
- copy or reuse our code, illustrations, audio, branding, interface designs or learning materials in another website, application, course package or product;
- download, scrape, harvest, export or systematically collect our vocabulary database or other content, including through repeated collection of individual records;
- mirror, rehost, frame, iframe-embed or otherwise present our games or Website as part of another service;
- use Website content or datasets to train, fine-tune, evaluate or populate artificial-intelligence systems, models or competing content services;
- reverse-engineer or decompile software to obtain material for unauthorised reuse, or bypass access restrictions or technical protections; or
- remove, obscure or alter copyright notices, attribution, branding or other rights-management information.
Attribution alone does not authorise otherwise prohibited copying or reuse.
Ordinary search-engine indexing of public pages is permitted in accordance with our published crawler instructions, solely to help users discover and visit the Website. This permission does not authorise database extraction, model training or republication of our games.
5. Links, Scores, Screenshots and Gameplay Clips
You may share links to our public pages and use our built-in score-sharing features.
You may also share individual screenshots and short gameplay clips for personal sharing, teaching demonstrations, commentary or reviews, provided that:
- Arabic Learning Games is clearly credited and a link to the Website is included where the platform allows;
- visible branding and ownership notices are retained;
- the material does not expose another person’s private information;
- you do not imply sponsorship, partnership, endorsement or ownership; and
- the material does not reproduce or reconstruct a game, dataset, asset collection or substantial sequence of learning content.
This permission includes genuine commentary or reviews on ad-supported channels. It does not permit standalone asset downloads, compilations intended to replace our services, resale, or use of our branding in advertisements for unrelated products.
Screenshots may be resized and clips trimmed for presentation, but must not be altered to misrepresent the Website or remove attribution.
These permissions do not limit any independent right to lawful criticism, quotation or other legally protected use.
6. Responsible Use
You must not attack, disrupt or overload the Website; introduce harmful code; gain unauthorised access; bypass security or rate limits; manipulate results for fraudulent purposes; impersonate us; or use our forms to send spam, threats or unlawful material.
Please report suspected vulnerabilities privately through our Contact page. Do not access other users’ information or conduct disruptive security testing without our written permission.
7. Educational Purpose and Content Limitations
The Website provides supplementary Arabic practice, not accredited teaching, professional advice or a formal assessment of language proficiency.
Vocabulary, translations, pronunciation, hints and answer-validation systems may contain errors or reflect particular interpretations of Arabic usage. A word being accepted or rejected by a game is not a definitive linguistic ruling.
Scores, difficulty labels and feedback are game features, not qualifications or guarantees of learning outcomes. Important language information should be checked against suitable references or with a qualified teacher.
8. Children and Supervision
Children should use the Website with appropriate parental, guardian or teacher supervision. Adults supervising use should assess whether activities and external services are suitable for the child.
Anyone who lacks legal capacity to agree to these Terms should have a parent or legal guardian review them and authorise use as applicable. Nothing in this section overrides applicable rules concerning minors.
9. Availability, Changes and Stored Progress
The current games are provided free of charge. This does not promise permanent free access to every present or future feature. Any future paid service will be presented with its price and applicable terms before purchase; using the current free Website does not authorise future charges.
We may update, replace, suspend or discontinue games or features for operational, educational, security, legal or business reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of significant changes affecting ongoing use.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or preservation of scores, preferences or progress. Browser settings, cleared storage, updates and technical faults may affect locally stored information.
10. Privacy and External Services
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Our Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar technologies. Both are available through the Website footer.
Accepting these Terms does not itself constitute consent to optional cookies, analytics or other processing requiring separate consent. You can manage applicable choices through “Privacy settings”.
External websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control them or guarantee their availability or accuracy. This does not exclude responsibility that the law places on us for our own conduct.
11. Feedback and Corrections
You retain ownership of original feedback you submit. To the extent you own the relevant rights, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt and incorporate that feedback into the Website and related improvements, and to permit our service providers to do so for those purposes.
This permission survives the end of your use of the Website. It does not authorise publication of your personal information contrary to our Privacy Policy.
Do not submit confidential third-party material or content you are not entitled to provide. We are not obliged to use, publish or compensate unsolicited suggestions.
Separately commissioned contributions are governed by the applicable written contributor agreement.
12. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Website is supplied “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or achievement of a particular learning outcome.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, and for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities or anticipated savings arising from use of the Website.
We are not responsible for loss to the extent caused by your misuse, breach of these Terms or events outside our reasonable control.
These limitations apply only where lawful. Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
13. Enforcement and Access Restrictions
We may restrict access or terminate permissions where we reasonably believe there has been a material breach, infringement, security threat or unlawful use. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect the Website, users or rights holders.
If a permission is terminated for breach, you must stop the affected use and remove copies held or distributed under that permission, except where retention or use is independently permitted by law or an applicable third-party licence.
We reserve the right to pursue remedies available under applicable law, including removal of infringing material, injunctions, damages and recoverable legal costs. These Terms do not predetermine the remedies a court may award.
14. Changes to These Terms
Revisions will be published here with an updated date. Material changes to permitted teaching or sharing uses will normally be announced at least 30 days before taking effect, unless earlier action is reasonably necessary for legal, security or abuse-prevention reasons.
Changes apply prospectively and do not retrospectively make previously permitted conduct a breach. Where affirmative acceptance is legally required, we will seek it.
If you disagree with revised Terms, stop the affected use.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Malaysian law, subject to any mandatory protections applicable to you.
Subject to those protections, the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent protective relief in another court with appropriate jurisdiction.
Please contact us if a dispute arises so that we can try to resolve it. This request does not prevent access to courts, regulators or other remedies available by law.
16. General and Contact
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent legally possible. A failure or delay in enforcing a right does not waive it.
These Terms do not create a partnership, agency, employment or endorsement relationship. Separate written agreements govern any additional licences or commissioned work.
For questions, permission requests or intellectual-property complaints, contact us through our Contact page. For a rights complaint, identify the affected material, its location, the rights claimed and a way to contact you.
